Petatlan to the km 226 marker.

towards Barra de Potosi.
 
5.30 4.40 Turn left (north-east) at an intersection, where the main road makes a 90
degree turn to the right (south-west). A fence runs NE-SW. The mark is
located next to the N side of the fence line, about 5 meters east of the
intersection.
 
5.33 0.03 Although it is possible to park the car within 2 meters of the monument,
to avoid multipath, drive another 30 meters or so and then walk back to
the monument.
 
The mark is set in a concrete "inverted pyramid" style monument used by
for surveying UNAM level lines. The monument is labeled INSTITUTO
DE GEOFISICA.
