Location: The site is co-located with accelerograph station in the Coralon de Petaquillas.
Site is approximately 5 km south of Petaquillas (Petaquillas is on the Federal Highway ~1 km south from Chilpancingo to Acapulco).
To Reach: Drive south from Chilpancingo, take to the right at the exit from Chilpancingo, pass the bridge that crosses over the Autopista del Sol. Past Petaquillas, along the free highway towards Acapuico (Libre). Continue on the old highway 6 km south of the entrance to the new highway (carretera cuota). There is a large curve in the road that surrounds the Coralon de Petaquillas (a junk-yard of cars). Inside the coralon is the accelerograph station. The GPS monument is 33 m or 100ft or 20 paces due south of the accelerograph fence. Site is just accross a small dirt road in a grey limestone outcrop. Francisco is the man in the coralon who helped us.
Main Station Mark: Stainless steel pin with center punch, with no inscription, set in bedrock.

Geology: Limestone outcrop.
Comments: Access to a/c power and telephone can be found in the town of Chilpancingo.
Gasoline can be found in the both entrances to Chilpancingo. The closest place for medical service will be in Chilpancingo.
