Location: On top of a rock outcrop formed by a road cut at km 21 on the Autopista Diamante.
 
To Reach: From Mexico City: Driving south on autopista de sol, pass the La Venta pay
station. After passing through the pay station, take the
Diamante highway exit. As you enter the first curve (after
approximately 300 meters), look for a road cut in bedrock on
the right (south-west) side of the highway. The point is
located on top of this rock outcrop.
 
From Acapulco: Driving north on autopista de sol (it is called autoista diamante
in this section), go to the km 21 marker. When standing at the
km 21 marker, the point is located approximately 75 meters
away to the north-west on top of a rock outcrop formed by the
road cut.
 
Main Station Mark: Stainless steel pin with center punch, inscription GC01 S, set in rock.

Comments: Nearest telephone, gas, and medical services located in the town of Acapulco. 2 wheel
drive vehicle is fine for reaching this site. Bring something to provide shade.
