Location: The site is located at the intersection of the Autopista del Sol and the Federal Highway
95 just west of Tierra Colorado.
 
To Reach: From Tierra Colorado, drive west on highway 95 towards Acapulco. Pass the bridge
that crosses over the Autopista del Sol. Just past the bridge, there will be a sign that
shows the right turn that goes to Acapulco (Autopista del Sol). Do not turn here.
Just past this sign, about 15 meters further, the site is located on top of a hill to the left
(south). There is a place to turn off the road on the left, just past the 4 m high
embankment of rock and soil. Drive around behind this outcrop and park the vehicle.
 
The site is located on top of the embankment on the east side in a small granite outcrop
(1/2 meters across) that does not extend past ground level.
 
Main Station Mark: Stainless steel pin with center punch, with no inscription, set in bedrock.

Geology: Granitic outcrop.
 
Comments: Access to a/c power and telephone can be found in the town of Tierra Colorado.
Gasoline can be found in Tierra Colorado. The closest place for medical service will
be in Tierra Colorado. Bring a machete to clear vegetation at this site.
